FACULTY DIRECTOR of
THE PEOPLE LAB
Hello!
I am a public management scholar and behavioral scientist who studies, designs, and tests innovations in how government operates.
The majority of my work focuses on the people of government and the services they deliver. I think about how to recruit diverse talent into government, create inclusive workplaces in private and public organizations, and how to prevent burnout at work. I also use insights from behavioral science to understand how we can make it easier for people to interact with government and take up programs for which they are eligible, such as rental assistance, college financial aid, or the Earned Income Tax Credit.
In 2017, I founded The People Lab that collaborates directly with government agencies to respond to real-time challenges that practitioners face, turning academic knowledge into scalable solutions.
